2024 MV CYANO maps and data
In response to the rising incidence of cyanobacteria blooms and in recognition of the need for baseline monitoring data, the Great Pond Foundation (GPF) designed and initiated the Martha’s Vineyard Cyanobacteria Monitoring Program (MV CYANO). MV CYANO was started in 2021 and continues to grow Vineyard-wide. Maps from 2024 are found below as GIFs, where the image loops through each week’s map in chronological order. Each pond is linked to a data summary document with relevant data from the 2024 cyanobacteria monitoring season.
