On Friday, July 18th at 7pm, The Vineyard Conservation Society and Great Pond Foundation invite the community to a special screening of Finding a Better Balance, the second episode in the acclaimed Great Ponds Film Series by local filmmaker Ollie Becker who will be on-hand to discuss the film.

Following the screening, stay for a thoughtful community discussion with Samantha Look of Vineyard Conservation Society and Emily Reddington of Great Pond Foundation. Samantha will offer practical guidance on environmentally responsible land care practices, while Emily will share scientific insights drawn from GPF’s research and monitoring of Island ponds. Together, they’ll explore how simple changes in lawn and landscape care can make a meaningful difference for water quality and ecological health.
